Today, the Coptic Cross has many different designs and all of them has evolved from the ancient Egyptian Ankh Cross. The coptic cross symbolizes breath of life and both mortal existence and afterlife. It reminds us of prosperity and faith. Copts are the largest domestic population in Egypt. Most of them are members of the Coptic Orthodox church and the Coptic Catholic church.
